How we use your information

A plain-English explanation of the information we collect through this website and how it is handled.

Who we are

Bullshark Aero Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 16127387. Our registered office is Unit 29 Highcroft Industrial Estate, Enterprise Road, Horndean, Hants, United Kingdom, PO8 0BT.

Information we collect

When you use the enquiry form, we receive the name, company, email address, enquiry type and message you provide. If you contact us directly, we receive the information included in your email or other correspondence.

If you make a careers enquiry, we may also receive your CV, work examples and information about your experience. Please do not send confidential third-party material or sensitive personal information unless we have asked for it and you are authorised to share it.

Our website and form providers may process technical information needed to deliver and secure their services, such as IP address, browser information, access times and security logs.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess potential work, prepare quotations, discuss contracts, manage supplier and customer relationships, handle careers enquiries, protect the website and meet legal obligations.

Depending on the enquiry, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business and responding to people who contact us. We do not add enquiry details to unrelated marketing lists without permission.

Who receives it

Information is available only to people who need it for the purposes above. We may use service providers for website hosting, form delivery, email and business IT, and may disclose information where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The enquiry form is processed by Formspree. Formspree states that it may process information in the United States and other countries and applies safeguards to international transfers. See the Formspree privacy policy for details.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, relationship or legal purpose concerned. We consider whether the enquiry remains active, whether a contract or dispute could arise, and whether law, accounting or security requirements require a longer period. Careers material is deleted when it is no longer needed for the recruitment purpose for which it was supplied, unless you agree to a longer period.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict or object to its use, and receive information you provided in a portable format. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Your right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to our use of your information. Email us at the address above and explain your concern.

Cookies and automated decisions

This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. Essential technical logs may be created by the hosting and form services to deliver and protect the site. We do not make decisions about people using solely automated processing or profiling.
